About Morristown, TN

Morristown, Tennessee is the county seat of Hamblen County, tucked into the Ridge and Valley region of the Appalachians along Cherokee Lake, roughly between Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s a small city — around 30,000 people — but it’s the hub for a good bit of East Tennessee.

These days, when we talk about our “location,” we don’t mean a street address. Our home is the community of makers we’re building here in the Morristown area — the people who show up to learn something new, share what they know, and build things together. That’s what we’re putting our energy into. If that sounds like your kind of people, here’s where to find us.
